That's right, Mom is coming home! On January 1, 2004 it will be 20 years since Ma Bell was put in her place. . Well she is back after 20 years SBC is trying to resurrect her. Due to problems with LNP (Local Number Portability) and the Telecommunications Act of 1996 the original Baby Bells (Regional Bell Operating Companies) and the companies that have spun off of them are all merging back together to form the all new Bell System.
